One of the last acts of kindness displayed by fallen Officer Celena Hollis was to have the Denver Police Black Police Officers Organization host a Bone Marrow Drive for a Colorado Army National Guardsman.

To provide a safe environment for the 2012 Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon, the cities of Aurora, Denver and Lakewood will have temporary traffic impacts along Colfax Avenue on Sunday, May 20, 2012. While travel on Colfax Avenue will be restricted, normal traffic patterns will resume as soon as it’s safe for athletes, spectators and motorists.
